Pharmacist
The Pharmacist provides clinical oversight for medication therapy in an oncology infusion center, ensuring safe preparation, administration, and monitoring of complex treatments. The Pharmacist is responsible for the safe, effective, and compliant management of medication therapy within a hematology-oncology physician office and outpatient infusion center. This position provides clinical pharmacy oversight of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, supportive medications, and other high-risk medications administered within the practice.
The Pharmacist works collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel to ensure that oncology treatment regimens are clinically appropriate, accurately prescribed, safely prepared, properly administered, and appropriately monitored.
The Pharmacist will provide oversight of the infusion center's medication-use processes, including regimen review, treatment plan verification, medication preparation and dispensing, inventory management, staff education, medication safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and possess strong knowledge of oncology and hazardous drug handling. A minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience is preferred, along with proficiency in electronic medical records.
