This position involves all activities associated with an Oncology infusion center pharmacy technician, including compounding hazardous medications and replenishing Emergency Department stock using Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Responsibilities require knowledge of pharmacy practice, federal and state laws, and pharmacology with an emphasis on antineoplastic therapies.

Overview

Responsibilities vary by client but generally include providing daily routine care such as feeding, grooming, bathing, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. Employees must also converse with the client for assurance and immediately report any incidents or concerns to the agency.
