The DEXA Diagnostic Technologist produces diagnostic quality radiologic and bone densitometry images under the direction of a Physician while ensuring proper radiation protection standards. They are responsible for patient care, documentation, and coordination of daily work duties within the team.

The technologist performs breast imaging exams, including screening and diagnostic mammography, and is responsible for quality control checks on equipment and diagnostic workstations. They must maintain patient safety and compliance standards while rotating locations and shifts as needed.
