Beginning with the Cold war and up to the present day, thousands of Americans have worked in the development and testing of our nation’s nuclear weapons stockpile. Some of these workers have been exposed to radiation, beryllium, silica, and other toxic substances that may have contributed to various medical conditions, including several different types of cancer. Enacted in 2000, the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act provides both monetary and medical benefits to former nuclear weapons workers with covered medical conditions and to their survivors. Our team is specially trained to educate you on your options and respect the client’s opinions about the types of services they feel are best suited for them. Nuclear Worker Solutions provides free consultations and health assessments to eligible current and former nuclear workers.
