Nestled in the heart of Central Illinois, along the Illinois River in Havana, Mason District Hospital has been meeting the health care needs of those living, visiting, and working in Mason and the surrounding counties since 1957. As a licensed 25 bed Rural Critical Access Hospital , we pride ourselves on our intimate understanding of the unique health needs of our community. We have grown since 1957 to keep pace with the changing needs of our patients and the rapid advances in medical technology and healthcare delivery. We operate three fully certified rural health clinics in Havana, Manito, and Mason City, and provide a full range of inpatient, outpatient, and home care services. Our medical staff of physicians is supported by a team of healthcare professionals and sophisticated diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including our full-service emergency department, physician and specialty clinics, MD Immediate Care, home health services, diabetes education, Senior Advantage, and a full rehabilitation department including physical, occupational and speech therapies, as well as cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. Mason District Hospital stands as a testament to the remarkable power of community involvement and generosity. The local volunteer organizations and members of the community have been instrumental in the hospital's journey, contributing significantly through countless hours of service and monetary donations. This unwavering support has aided in the hospital's expansion and improvements over the years. We are grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
