About the role

The Physical Therapist Assistant will administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist, assisting with patient mobility and exercise routines. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient responses, reporting progress, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring a safe treatment environment.

How you’ll contribute

A Physical Therapist Assistance who excels in this role will

Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.

Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.

Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Information

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
  • Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
  • License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
  • Certifications: CPR certification required.

Requirements

Candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program and hold a current PTA license in the state of practice, along with required CPR certification. Rehab or acute care experience is preferred for this role.
