The LPN II provides direct service and daily nursing care for a specialized population with brain injuries or developmental delays, assuming overall responsibility for the program during the designated shift as the lead nurse. Responsibilities include implementing person-centered care plans, performing skilled nursing tasks like wound and trach care, and clinically supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (C.N.A.s).
A valid Licensed Practical Nurse credential in Massachusetts is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred. Candidates must be at least 21, possess a valid driver's license for six months, and pass comprehensive background checks, including becoming CPR certified within two weeks of hire.
Schedule: Sun-Thu 7am-3pm
$39.50
This role is eligible for a $700 per month stipend for the candidate hired into this role who lives further than a 25-mile radius from this worksite.
Sign On Bonus: $3,000; $1,000 upon completion of 30 days, $2,000 upon completion of 9 months
The LPN II provides direct service and daily nursing care in a medically intensive program, designed to meet the needs of a unique and specialized population who have been diagnosed with a brain injury, developmental delay or intellectual disability and have complex medical needs. The LPN II assumes overall responsibility of the program for the designated shift as lead staff/nurse. Ensures that care is provided in a respectful, dignified, high-quality manner and ensures the care provided promotes individual choices.
