The Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) receives patients from the Operating Room, monitors vital signs, and performs necessary interventions as prescribed by medical staff. This role may also involve assisting with patient transport and monitoring IV sedation during local cases in the Operating Room.
Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of experience in Critical Care or PACU, or completion of a basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience, along with age-specific education or experience. Required certifications include a current California Registered Nurse license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certificates.
