Clinical staff are responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care under the direction of physicians or providers, assisting with tasks including order entry, reporting, and organizational duties. This role requires independently performing various medical procedures as directed, such as venipuncture, administering injections, and conducting diagnostic tests like EKGs and lab testing.
Applicants must possess a High School diploma or equivalent, and either be a certified Medical Assistant or a Licensed Practical Nurse with current state licensure and pharmacology training. Prior experience in an ambulatory healthcare facility is preferred, and CPR certification is required within the first three months.

Licensed Practical Nurse applicants must successfully have completed a practical nursing and pharmacology program and maintain current state licensure with CNE requirements 3. Prior experience in ambulatory health care facility preferred 4. Ability to learn related center tasks and be of assistance to management and physicians 5. Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards. 6. CPR certified within the first 3 months of employment. 7. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding 8. Familiarity with the EPIC EMR is strongly preferred. 9. Thorough understanding of HIPAA law.
