The Pre-Op/PACU RN utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, deliver, document, and evaluate care for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures in the Ambulatory Surgical Center. This involves collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and provide necessary patient and family education.
Candidates must be graduates of a professional nursing school and hold current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse. While no prior experience is strictly required, one year of PACU or critical care nursing experience is necessary, along with obtaining Basic Life Support certification within 30 days and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of employment.
Graduate of a school of professional nursing.
