The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs routine personal care duties for patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, ensuring a safe environment and reporting any issues. Responsibilities include providing age-appropriate care, receiving reports, reporting observations to team leaders, and assisting licensed personnel in patient care delivery.
Candidates must be current or rising high school seniors and possess the required Certified Nurse Aide certification listed on the Virginia and/or West Virginia Board of Nursing Registry. Applicants must also hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and understand basic principles of human growth and development.
