The therapist is responsible for interpreting and delivering accurate radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by physicians. This includes positioning patients, utilizing beam modifying devices, and performing routine quality assurance checks on machinery.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Radiation Therapy program with ARRT registration and New York State licensure. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.
Performs a variety of technical procedures in the application and delivery of radiation therapy, as prescribed by the physician.
