About the role

The Behavioral Health Specialist provides patient services in accordance with professional standards. They work as part of an interdisciplinary team to support both adults and children.

Position- Behavioral Health Specialist PRN

Provides patient services, in accordance with professional standards of a Mental and Behavioral Health professional with similar training.

Qualifications

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Oral and written skills in English language
  • Computer skills and ability to work in Electronic Medical Records
  • Working knowledge of Family Medicine Network policies and procedures
  • MSW and LCSW with the State of Montana
  • Ability to work as part of interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action based on experience within the limits of policy and procedure.
  • Ability to supply services to adults and children.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of diverse cultures, ages, and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent and sensitive manner.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

MSW degree and LCSW licensure required. Required continuing education in order to maintain licensure.

Compensation

• $24-36/hr +DOE

Certificates, licenses, registrations

Masters of Social Work required; Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Montana. Must maintain licensure, including completion of necessary annual continuing education classes.

Requirements

Candidates must have an MSW degree and LCSW licensure in the state of Montana. They should also possess strong oral and written communication skills, computer skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
