About the role

The nurse is responsible for administering medications and treatments while managing individualized care plans for residents. Additionally, they oversee Certified Nursing Assistants and participate in quality assurance activities.

Position

  • PRN Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care.

  • Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.

Documentation

Accurately document patient care in health records.

Patient

Education: Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.

Care

Plan

Management: Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.

Competency &

Standards: Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.

Quality

Assurance: Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

Supervision

Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) as applicable.

Team

Communication: Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.

Experience

Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.

Skills

Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.

Requirements
