Job Description

Do you have a passion for nursing, but don't want to work in a hospital setting? We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time nursing opportunity with steady hours in a community-based setting working with individuals with developmental disabilities. The RN provides nursing services to meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and helps train staff. Full-Time with a comprehensive benefits package; Medical, Dental, Vision, Tuition Reimbursement, Matching 401K, and more.The ideal candidate will provide nursing services, conduct assessments, develop health care plans and helps train staff. Requires New Jersey license as a registered nurse; experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. In addition, he or she must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation. Orientation and on the job training will be provided. EOE.

Responsibilities

Provides nursing care following established nursing service objectives and standards-Ensures that all safety and infection control practices are followed-Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards-Completes medical audits and assessments appropriately-Documents all member medical/health issues and situations-Attends required trainings, staff meetings, and other meetings/events as requested.

Qualifications

  • Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse-Nursing experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Valid driver's license

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation for work purposes. Nursing experience, especially with people with disabilities, is preferred, alongside excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
