Outpatient only practice 1.0 FTE with 4 1/2 day work week Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community EPIC EMR
Average of 18-22 patients per day; no nights or weekends No inpatient responsibilities Hospitalist Program is responsible for serving adult and pediatric inpatients Telephonic outpatient call only, no need to physically report to clinic/hospital Call shared equitably by primary care providers Calls are triaged through My Nurse Call Center, very minimal call volume Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Established clinic with a large team to provide support General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc. Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B exempt)
