Overview UnityPoint Clinic Registered Nurse - Specialty Clinic Endocrinology Clinic Sioux City, IA Full-time benefits Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM + Friday 8:00AM-12:00PM We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our endocrinology team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality care for patients with hormone and metabolic conditions, including diabetes and thyroid disorders. The RN will assist with patient exams and treatments while serving as a key resource for patient education and ongoing disease management support. You will work closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure patients receive timely, coordinated, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Why UnityPoint Health? Responsibilities

  • Assist providers during patient exams, procedures, and endocrine-related care visits.
  • Room patients, obtain and document medical histories, vital signs, and enter accurate information into the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Administer medications, injections, and treatments within scope of licensure, including diabetes-related therapies as applicable.
  • Educate patients on endocrine conditions, medications, lifestyle management, and follow-up care.
  • Coordinate referrals, diagnostic testing, and patient care follow-up to support continuity of care.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment in accordance with infection control and clinic standards.

Qualifications

Valid and current RN licensure in the state of Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) – Iowa Board of Nursing Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC a plus! For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing #UPC123 #SCUPC #HotJob SC

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa. Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting is preferred, and familiarity with the EPIC electronic health record system is considered a plus.
