About the role

Provide comprehensive hospitalist care with a focus on improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions. Manage an average patient census of 15-18 patients while collaborating with a team of physicians and nurse practitioners.

Overview UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Hospitalist Physician to join our team in the Quad Cities, IA/IL UnityPoint Clinic UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being. Hospitalist schedule is 7on/7off with 12-hour shifts 14, 12-hour shifts per month; 7a-7p One overnight shift every 23 weeks Open ICU with intensivist availability to consult Team of 23 Physicians and 6 NPs

Qualifications

MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the states of Iowa and Illinois Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt) J-1 waiver sponsorship available We offer Shift based compensation with RVU kicker and performance incentive Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in. Requirements

Must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Candidates must be eligible for unrestricted medical licenses in Iowa and Illinois.
