The position is responsible for setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment. It also involves performing or assisting with procedures utilized in the diagnosis or treatment of cardiopulmonary disease or illness.
Candidates must be graduates of an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care and hold relevant certifications and licensure. Desired qualifications include an associate or BS degree in Respiratory Science and registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Respiratory Care Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Certified or certified-eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC), Licensed by the Alabama State Board of Respiratory Therapy If not certified by NBRC, must obtain certification by expiration of Temporary License date ACLS certification may be required in designated areas as determined by administration Desired Qualifications: Associate degree or BS degree in Respiratory Science Desired Licensure, Registration, Certification: Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
