Candidates must be a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an unrestricted license to practice in Illinois. The role requires the authority to prescribe and administer medications and the ability to work effectively in a team-based school environment.

Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine at the School Link program supporting Rock Island Public Schools 1.0 FTE, 5 days a week Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Electronic Medical Record: Athena Health and Phreesia
Average of 14-20 patients per school day; no nights or weekends Potential for rotating call responsibilities/ directions to patients needs via triage Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
