This role involves providing quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic, neuro-interventional, and vascular interventional radiology procedures, requiring the operation of specialized equipment to produce high-quality radiographs. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of stroke procedures, utilize necessary medical devices, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure patient and staff safety regarding radiation exposure.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of radiology with ARRT certification and possess a minimum of two years of experience, including at least one year specifically in Interventional Radiology. Proficiency in the neuro-interventional suite must be demonstrated within six months of employment, with advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography being preferred.
