The role involves guiding patient recovery through comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments to inform personalized care strategies and leading therapeutic interventions like group therapy sessions to provide essential coping tools. Nurses will also participate in team conferences to refine age-specific treatment goals and evaluate real-time responses to care to adjust nursing plans.
Minimum requirements include a Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Kansas Board of Nursing and a Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at hire. Additionally, a BLS Provider certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Guide the recovery journey by performing comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments that capture the full picture of a patient’s needs and strengths to inform a personalized care strategy. Lead therapeutic interventions by conducting or co-leading group therapy sessions, providing patients with the essential coping tools and community support needed for healing. Shape personalized treatment goals by actively participating in team conferences to refine interventions that address the specific age-related and clinical needs of each patient. Empower patient progress by evaluating real-time responses to care and adjusting nursing plans, ensuring every intervention is purposeful and responsive to the patient’s evolving status.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
