The Home Health Aide will assist in providing daily routine or episodic daily nursing aide care within a clinically intensive residential program for adults with brain injuries or behavioral conditions. Duties include assisting with Activities of Daily Living, administering medication under MAP guidelines, and employing rehabilitation techniques to promote independence and quality of life.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a current Certified Home Health Aide Certification (CHHA) in the state of service. Candidates must also obtain CPR and First Aid certification within two weeks of hire, MAP within 150 days, and Safety Care within 90 days.
Your duties include assisting person's served with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines, assisting individuals to become more a part of their communities, and helping the program to meet the highest quality standards. You will employ rehabilitation values, principles and techniques, including skills training to help individuals served overcome barriers, live as independently as possible and increase their quality of life.
