The RN Circulator provides nursing services for patient care and treatment under general supervision, involving continuous assessment of physiological, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual health status during the intraoperative phase. Responsibilities include developing and implementing appropriate plans of care, communicating data to the healthcare team, and evaluating interventions based on patient status and planned procedures.
Candidates must have graduated from an NLN approved nursing program and possess a minimum of 1 year of Operating Room RN experience, along with current Texas licensure or NLC compact license and Basic Life Support certification. Experience in Scrub, Endo/Open Vascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, Open AAA, or Iliac Stenting is preferred, as is CNOR certification.

JOB SUMMARY The Registered Nurse OR Circulator position works under general supervision of physician, mid-level provider and/or nursing supervisor to provide nursing services in care and treatment of patients.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required · Education Graduate of NLN approved nursing program · Experience 1 year Operating Room RN experience · Licenses and Certifications (NLC) NURSING LICENSURE COMPACT-BNE or Current Texas license or (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
