The primary purpose of this role is to execute respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care for patients experiencing pulmonary system deficiencies. This involves assessing patient needs, analyzing physiological changes, planning outcomes, and performing necessary interventions according to established policies.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited school and be a graduate of a respiratory care program, with a Bachelor of Science in a health care field preferred. A minimum of one year of respiratory experience in an acute and/or subacute unit is preferred, along with current state Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure and current CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
