Provide substance use counseling to clients in the substance use program and document progress notes. Implement evidenced based modalities to assist clients in their recovery and complete necessary documentation.
A valid LCADC or CADC license is required for this position. All work is under the supervision of an LCADC.

We are currently seeking a Per Diem Substance Abuse Counselor for our Mount Carmel Guild Substance Use program in Cranford, NJ.
• Provide substance use counseling to clients in the substance use program level 1 and level 2.1 , document progress notes on all groups in electronic health record. Implement evidenced based modalities to assist clients in their recovery .Complete treatment plans, and other documentation according to agency standards,. Admit clients using NJSAMS. Collecting weekly UDS All work is under the supervision of an LCADC.

Hourly Rate: $30-$35
