A Physical Therapist interprets initial evaluation results to determine appropriate patient goals and develops a corresponding treatment plan, modifying it as necessary using appropriate techniques. They also participate in teaching opportunities, clinical education of students, and inter-disciplinary program planning while maintaining a safe environment.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program and hold a valid Indiana Physical Therapy license or temporary permit, welcoming both experienced and new graduates. Essential knowledge includes anatomy, physiology, evaluation concepts, and current professional trends, along with the ability to effectively communicate and manage patient transfers.
