The Addictions Counselor is responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring, and delivering high-quality services to chemically dependent and dually diagnosed patients. Key duties include maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, documenting progress, delivering educational services, intervening in crises, and collaborating with the team to meet treatment plan objectives.
Candidates must possess either a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college, or a High School Diploma or equivalent combined with experience in a chemical dependency and/or mental health treatment setting. The role is based at KeyStone Center in Chester, Pennsylvania.
