As a Speech Language Pathologist, the role involves helping patients regain communication and swallowing abilities by designing and executing effective and efficient rehabilitation service plans. This includes addressing the whole patient, training patients and caregivers, and collaborating with peers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly-titled area acceptable to ASHA. Additionally, applicants are required to be licensed, certified, or credentialed as mandated by the state of practice.

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. 2. Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.
