This full-time role involves providing critical and acute care for cardiology patients, managing new patients, follow-ups, and acute visits, and utilizing Electronic Medical Records. The Physician Assistant will work closely with board-certified cardiologists offering diagnostic and innovative treatments.

Improving the Health of the People in the Communities We Serve Heart & Vascular Physician Assistant Fort Worth, TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiovascular Physician Assistant with critical and acute care experience to join a team of leading diagnostic and interventional and non-interventional Cardiologists in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.

Position Details

Full time – 40 hours per week Critical care of cardiology patients Electronic Medical Records New patients, follow up and acute care visits Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site Take pride in offering a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K Requirements Needed to Apply: · Active Texas license · Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience · Acute and Critical Care experience · Degree in PA studies from an approved physician assistant program · Cardiology experience preferred

Education Master's Degree Physician Assistant Req

Experience 1 Year As a Physician Assistant. Pref

Licenses and Certifications PA - Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure. Upon Hire Req

Skills Active listening and learning, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment and decision making.

Supervision Individual Contributor: ADA Requirements Working Indoors 67%25 or more Mechanical Hazards 1-33%25 Electrical Hazards 1-33%25

OSHA Tasks involving exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.

Physical Demands Light Work

Requirements

Applicants must possess an active Texas license, Physician Assistant Board Certification, and demonstrated experience in both acute and critical care settings. A degree from an approved PA program is required, with prior cardiology experience being preferred.
