The technologist performs entry-level ultrasound procedures requiring knowledge of anatomical positioning and physiology. This includes executing high-quality ultrasound examinations on children, adolescents, and adults for physician interpretation.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography school, with one year of scanning experience preferred, and must possess ARRT(S) registration or ARDMS certification. Required certifications include current BLS from AHA or recognized equivalent.
