The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for demonstrating expertise in the assessment, treatment, and care of patients, implementing clinical rounding services, and completing medication orders and dosing consults for designated teams. Essential functions include comprehensive medication order evaluation, dispensing, assisting with pharmacokinetics consults, and accurately documenting all clinical activities and interventions.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree and be licensed or eligible for licensure by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. A minimum of 1 year of post-graduate training, such as an ASHP-Accredited PGY1 Residency, or equivalent clinical experience is required.
