The Interventional Radiologic Technologist performs technical procedures using ionizing radiation for pathology detection and executes invasive angiographic, cardiovascular, and interventional imaging procedures for diagnosis. This role also involves providing patient education and assisting in the training of Radiology students.
Candidates must be graduates of a School of Radiologic Technology and hold active ARRT Radiography certification along with BLS certification. Eligibility or active pursuit of ARRT registry in Vascular Intervention is required, necessitating strong independent judgment and effective communication skills.
