The Veterinarian will practice medicine according to evidence-based standards, assist in creating and implementing best practice guidelines, and foster a culture of preventive healthcare through client education and partnerships. They must also educate the support team and clients while advocating for pet health and strengthening the human-pet bond.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Veterinary (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent from an accredited university, along with current DEA and State Veterinary Licenses. A minimum of three years of previous experience as a DVM is required, and USDA Accreditation is preferable.
