The role involves assessing patient nutrition status and implementing all components of the nutrition care process according to departmental policies and regulatory standards. This includes monitoring and evaluating nutrition interventions, making necessary adjustments, and reporting quality outcomes in both inpatient and outpatient environments.
A Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or Family & Consumer Science with ACEND requirements completed is required, along with less than one year of relevant experience. Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian and licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, with the ability to obtain registration and licensure within six months of hire.
