The Lab Assistant II performs routine technical and clerical laboratory functions, including specimen receipt and distribution. They are also responsible for performing venipuncture and CLIA waived laboratory tests as requested.
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of laboratory experience or a formal phlebotomy training program. A phlebotomy certification is required where state law mandates it.
