As an extern, you will focus on patient care and work alongside veterinarians to provide top-quality care. You will also participate in surgeries and dental procedures while educating pet parents.
Candidates must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program and require externship hours. This position is designed for those looking to gain practical experience in a supportive environment.

Are you looking to complete your externship in a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic with thoughtful mentorship and exposure to a variety of cases?At Bond Vet, we believe the role of a conventional veterinary technician has not realized its full potential in any GP or urgent-care clinical environment, and it is our mission to bring this role to the modern day. As an extern with us, you’re sure to find a supportive and successful start to your veterinary career.
Our veterinary technicians use their medical knowledge and clinical skills to provide routine and urgent care every day. You’ll participate in surgery and dental procedures, shadow appointments with credentialed veterinary technicians, and educate the pet parents who walk in our door.
We'll look out for you and encourage you to grow your skill set, helping you learn and setting up appropriate CE events and mentorship to support you through your externship with us.
• Must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program and will be in a class that requires externship hours and/or skills.
