The Counselor will be responsible for crafting person-centered treatment plans, monitoring client progress, and leading individual and group counseling sessions for patients in all stages of recovery. From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate, steadfast support for our patients’ journey to recovery. McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is seeking a Part-time Counselor to join our Opioid Treatment Program at our Monroe, NC location. How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.

Play a pivotal role in monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support both patients and their families.

Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support. Your impact will extend beyond our doors!

Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth and development.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?

  • We're looking for Master's degree-level, fully licensed or associate licensed Family Counselors (LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, LCMHC).

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree level and hold full or associate licensure as a Family Counselor, specifically LCAS, LMFT, LCSW, or LCMHC. The position is part-time and supports the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program at the Monroe location.
