This position involves setting up, operating, and administering various respiratory care equipment and procedures for diagnosis and treatment in general floor and critical care areas. Responsibilities include performing blood gas analysis, operating and monitoring mechanical ventilators, assisting with bedside procedures, and performing basic pulmonary function testing.
Required qualifications include graduation from a 2-year AMA approved Respiratory Care program and less than 10 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with 6 months specifically required for the Network float position. Candidates must possess an RCP license, RRT credential, and BCLS certification.
