About the Role

• As a Respiratory Therapist at Larkin Palm Springs Campus, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare team, providing specialized care to patients with respiratory issues.
• Your primary responsibility will be to assess, treat, and educate patients on respiratory conditions, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Minimum Qualifications

Vocational / Technical diploma / Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.

RRT/CRT valid Florida license.

BLS – Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (American Heart Association)

PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (American Heart Association)

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Basic computer knowledge.

1 - 3 years of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
• Experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in an emergency room.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory conditions and needs.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
