The technologist performs radiographic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, executing technical tasks that require independent judgment and initiative. This involves applying prescribed ionizing radiation or radiofrequency beams for diagnosis or intervention, and assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
Candidates must possess Board Certification in Radiology and registry in both MRI and CT. Required certifications include ARRT and BLS, along with the Florida Radiologic Tech license.

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
