The role involves evaluating communication disorders and administering therapy treatments for patients with hearing, speech, and language problems, including performing diagnostic evaluations and developing individualized plans of care. Responsibilities also include documenting care, counseling patients and families, and participating in multidisciplinary consultations.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience, along with a current New York State Speech Pathologist License and ASHA Clinical Competence Certification. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
Evaluates communication disorders and administers therapy treatments for patients with problems associated with hearing, speech, and language disorders. Maintains records, monitors progress, and counsels patients and their family members. Participates in multidisciplinary consultations.
