The primary role involves providing expert vascular access services, including the bedside insertion of PICCs, midlines, extended dwell catheters, peripheral IV catheters, and establishing access via intravascular ports. This specialist must also examine, assess, and evaluate patients with existing vascular access devices.
Candidates must possess a current RN license in the working state along with current ACLS and BCLS certifications, and must have completed a vascular access competency skills checklist. The role demands high professionalism, strong communication skills, and a focus on patient/client needs.
The job of PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist was established for the purpose/s of providing expert
vascular access services to the patients of our clients. Working within the guidelines set forth by the state
in which these employees are licensed and also working within the guidelines set forth by the Company,
the PICC RN/ Vascular Access Specialist will maintain a high level of professionalism and skill.
