The primary responsibility involves providing comprehensive patient care across the entire continuum for all patients presenting to the Emergency Department, ranging from newborns to geriatrics. This includes performing initial assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostics, executing treatment algorithms, and arranging appropriate disposition, often involving high-acuity procedures.

M.D./D.O. in Emergency Medicine.
New Mexico State M.D.
License required.
Three to five years experience in emergency care and/or residency trained in emergency medicine to care for patients of all ages, newborn to geriatrics.
May also be BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with ER Fellowship OR 2000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience.
