The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for delivering healthcare services to patients within the scope defined by a standard care or supervisory agreement with an attending physician. This role involves collaborating with physicians and other clinicians to provide comprehensive patient care, focusing on preventive health and managing acute or stable chronic conditions.
Candidates must hold a current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio, or be a graduate of a qualifying PA-C program eligible for Ohio licensure. A Master of Science Degree in Nursing or a Master's prepared PA-C is required, with 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
The APP provides health care services to patients working in collaboration with a licensed physician member of the medical staff. Healthcare services provided include care during acute and chronic phases of illness, education, and counseling of individuals and families, health promotion and prevention, and referral to other healthcare providers and community resources when appropriate
Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in the State of Ohio Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination of a national certifying organization recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing Master of Science Degree in Nursing 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of critical care experience preferred. ACNP preferred OR Masters Prepared; Graduate of a PA-C program that qualifies the graduate to sit for the certification examination recognized by the National Certification Commission for Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Eligibility for State of Ohio licensure as a PA-C 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of critical care experience preferred.
