The Registered Nurse provides medical assessments, monitoring, and support for clients in substance use disorder treatment. Responsibilities include managing medication administration, maintaining electronic health records, and coordinating care with the treatment team.
Candidates must have at least an Associate Degree in Nursing and a valid, unrestricted Kentucky RN license. CPR certification and a valid Kentucky driver's license are also required.

The Registered Nurse supports the health, safety, and recovery of clients receiving substance use disorder treatment at Isaiah House. This role provides medical assessment, monitoring, education, and support while working closely with the treatment team. Through compassionate care and sound clinical judgment, the RN helps clients receive appropriate care throughout treatment.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, some holidays Work Environment: On-site Travel Requirements: May be needed to Other facilities Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull as needed. Ability to lift, carry, move, or assist with patients, supplies, and/or equipment related to the job. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements for charting, medication administration, and equipment use. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and move throughout the facility as needed.
Complete client medical evaluations, assessments, and treatment plan support. Monitor client health, vital signs, symptoms, and medication needs. Assist with medication ordering, administration support, MAT tracking, and injections. Maintain accurate EHR documentation, ASAMs, chart audits, and medical records. Coordinate care with providers, therapists, logistics, families, and emergency contacts. *As a Registered Nurse, these responsibilities are not all-inclusive and may include additional daily expectations, responsibilities, and tasks as assigned based on client needs, program needs, and organizational requirements.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing. Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Kentucky. CPR certification prior to hire. Valid Kentucky driver’s license. Knowledge of emergency procedures related to alcohol and/or drug overdose. Ability to adhere to Isaiah House policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Knowledge of recovery, mental health, and co-occurring disorders preferred. Experience working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient setting preferred. Experience in crisis intervention preferred. Conflict resolution skills preferred.
