The Dental Assistant will support the clinical team by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during procedures while ensuring a high level of patient care and satisfaction. Key duties also involve patient education, taking X-rays, maintaining records, and adhering to all compliance and safety protocols.
Candidates must possess prior dental assisting experience and have completed a one-year certified dental assistant program or have one year of on-the-job experience. Preferred qualifications include X-Ray certification, and Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended, alongside maintaining required annual training.

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program OR 1 year on-the-job-experience X-Ray certification - Preferred Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
