Provide clinical support by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during procedures. Manage patient care through education on oral hygiene and maintaining accurate medical records.
Requires completion of a certified dental assistant program or six months of on-the-job experience along with X-ray certification. A high school diploma and maintenance of OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR certifications are also required.

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
