How you'll contribute: A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) who excels in this role: Under the supervision of physicians or nurses, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.
Monitors and communication changes in patient condition.
Documents patient care given.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
Maintains examination areas.
Perform administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
