• Well established Hospitalist program since 2006, currently includes 18 physician & 2 ARNP team Care team support that includes 5 dedicated hospitalist RNs for care coordination and rounding efficiency + 1 CDE nurse Excellent multi-specialty support Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Full-time position 12 hour daytime shifts ; 5 days on, 5 days off; 2 days on, 2 days off.

Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Board Certified Inpatient experience as a nurse practitioner or registered nurse Acute Care Nurse Practitioner preferred Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice Eligible to work in the United States We offer Salary Position + Annual Performance incentive available Attractive incentive package A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
